Ulysses

The Ulysses butterfly (Papilio ulysses) is a species of butterfly native to Australia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Solomon Islands. It is known to be attracted to pink flowers. My butterfly wood-slice paintings are done on 1/2 inch pine wood slices approximately 6.5-8 inches in diameter. They are all organically shaped and unique. Each is finished with a glossy resin coating and hanging hardware, ready to brighten up your space.
