Corinna Daggerwing

The Corinna Daggerwing (Marpesia corinna) is a species of butterfly native to Colombia and Peru. It lives in altitudes between 400 and 1800 meters. My butterfly wood-slice paintings are done on 1/2 inch pine wood slices approximately 6.5-8 inches in diameter. They are all organically shaped and unique. Each is finished with a glossy resin coating and hanging hardware, ready to brighten up your space.
